The Great Feast and annual celebration of the Sacred Patriarchal Monastery of St. Irene Chrysovalantou is quickly approaching. This Feast attracts thousands of faithful every year who come to venerate the Miraculous Icon of the Saint, celebrate, and pray during the panegyric holy services.

- 8:00 – 10:30 a.m. Orthros and Divine Liturgy.
- 7:00 p.m.: Great Hierarchical Vespers, officiated by His Grace Bishop Joachim of Amissos, representative of His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, the blessing of the Five Loaves and the blessing of the Apples.
SUNDAY JULY 26 – SAINT PARASKEVI
- 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. Orthros and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, officiated by His Grace Bishop Joachim of Amissos, representative of His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who will read the Patriarchal Message on the Feast of Saint Irene.
- 12:00 p.m. The Great PROCESSION of the Miraculous Icon of St. Irene Chrysovalantou. Prayer in front of the Church of Saints Catherine and George. After the Procession, sick and needy faithful will pass under the Miraculous Icon of the Saint.
- 7:00 p.m. Great Vespers of St. Panteleimon.
MONDAY JULY 27 – SAINT PANTELEIMON
- 8:00 – 10:30 a.m. Orthros and Divine Liturgy.
- 7:00 p.m.: Great Vespers of Saint Irene Chrysovalantou, officiated by the V. Rev. Archimandrite Meletios, Abbot of the Sacred Patriarchal Monastery, and the blessing of the Five Loaves.
TUESDAY JULY 28 – FEAST DAY OF SAINT IRENE CHRYSOVALANTOU
- 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Orthros and Divine Liturgy, officiated by the V. Rev. Archimandrite Meletios, Abbot of the Sacred Patriarchal Monastery and the blessing of the Five Loaves.
- 7:00 p.m. Great Vespers & Paraklesis service to St. Irene Chrysovalantou for health of all pious and faithful people and pilgrims.
Festival
The annual Festival of St. Irene will be held from Thursday July 23 to Sunday July 26, from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. A variety of Greek foods, pastries, games, rides for children, performance of Greek dances by the “Greek American Folklore Society” and Greek music will highlight this family-oriented celebration. Everyone is welcome.
